The Walnut Grove Cafe opened its doors on Howard Street in 2019, born from a simple conviction: that the best bread is made slowly, with attention, and shared warmly.

We bake everything by hand — sourdough loaves that rise overnight in our starter, buttery croissants folded by hand each morning, and seasonal pastries shaped from recipes passed down through generations.

Located in Covelo, we draw neighbors from throughout the Russian River Valley. Our ingredients come from local farms and millers we know by name. Every loaf, every pastry, every cup of coffee is made with the same care we'd give our own table.
